Hello! My name is Kei-Lin Gatling. I am 17 years old. Currently, I’m a senior at Trumbull High School and Bridgeport Regional Aquaculture Science and Technology Center. For all four years of high school I have been very involved in my school and community. Within my school I am a member of the Interact Club, Bible Club, and the girl’s indoor and outdoor track team. I appreciate all the experiences I have had at Trumbull High School, but if I had to chose my favorite activity it would be doing community service. Being in a leadership group called Path of Success Students of Excellence (P.O.S.S.E.) and a participating member of 3C Youth at Cornerstone Christian Center I have learned to serve others before myself. By participating in multiple community service outreaches in P.O.S.S.E. I was able to make a difference in multiple parts of the world. I have been a missionary in Belize, Los Angeles and this upcoming summer in Haiti. Being able to put myself in different environments and helping others has inspired me to wanting to give back. In addition, I was discovered for modeling when I was on a mission trip in Los Angeles. I am signed with White Cross Management, Red Models and Directions USA. Professional modeling and high school both have taught me how to balance and prioritize. Going forth and being a part of this Expo team is exciting, but will require hard work in order to be successful. Every single activity and experience I was involved in has helped shape my attitude. Therefore, I am determined to utilize my past gains to help my team go into the future with a fresh perspective.
